Our beautiful Holiday Cottages are located between Scarborough and Whitby within the amazing North York Moors National Park and are ideal for outdoorsy holidays.
We have unique facilities at the cottages at Newlands Farm and Plantation Cottage. Both have dog showers and drying lockers for wet kit, these both also have dedilcated cycle storage.
Multiple dogs are welcome in the cottages at no extra cost, our location lends itself to exploring the moors, coast and local forests. There are many miles of walks and cycle routes for everyone catering for all levels and abilities. Hayburnbeck Farm has direct access onto the Cinder Track via a short private footpath.
We have eight holiday cottages that sleep from three to ten guests Plantation Cottage has a down stairs bedroom. They are located around the edges of the pretty village of Cloughton both the Cinder track and Cleveland way are only a stone’s throw away. There are many beaches in and around the area to enjoy, dogs are welcome on all during in winter, in summer there are certain areas that do not allow them but there is still plenty that do. Dalby Forest is also very close where cycling tracks, footpaths and nature can be seen and enjoyed.
Each cottage has been tastefully modernised and decorated retaining many originally features including beamed ceilings, exposed brick work, plaster cornicing, banister and stained glass door windows.
Plantation Cottage, Hayburn Beck Farm House and Newlands Farm House all have private hot tubs in their gardens. Rose, Fern and Lavender cottage have shared use of a hot tub and The Mistal and Threshers Cottage do not have hot tubs.
Wi fi is free although streaming can be difficult due to our rural location. There is ample free parking at all the properties so you will not be looking for that elusive parking space that happens in town. Whitby and Scarborough both have park and ride schemes that are ideal when visiting either.
The cottages are very close to local pubs The Brherstones Country Inn, The Hayburn Wyke , The Falcoln and the Black Smiths Arms. Eating out is easy as all these pubs have great menus and food that is amazing, children are welcome in all and The Brherstones and Hayburn Wyke also allow dogs in.
